Department InformationThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) offers ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, a Master's in ECE, and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering. The department emphasizes hands-on experience in modern engineering labs and opportunities in internships and research.

Apply for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The preferred start date is January 2026. This is a nine-month contract.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Provide service to the Department/College/University and professional community
- Teaching assignments based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- OR Master’s degree in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience in electrical engineering
- Evidence of innovative and/or research-supported teaching practices
- Prior electrical engineering industry experience
- Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
