Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Educational Leadership for the academic year . These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Educational Leadership.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required QualificationsTo teach undergraduate courses:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Educational Leadership or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
To teach graduate courses:
- A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Educational Leadership or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- Georgia Tier II Educational Leadership Certification or Eligibility
- School or district-based leadership experience (i.e., managing and leading school operations, budget, human resources, or professional development)
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses at the college level
