(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job SummaryProvides subject-specific assistance to the instructors for various summer camp programs.
Responsibilities- Conducts and supervises daily programming labs or other subject-specific sessions
- Reviews assignments, diagnosing and troubleshooting student issues
- Provides tutoring and mentorship to students needing additional instruction
- Aids in the preparation of course materials, including syllabi, labs, and solutions
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in classrooms
- Understands and follows emergency protocols and procedures
- Identifies and addresses behavioral issues, reporting concerns to camp leadership
- Helps maintain accurate program records and attendance
- Assists with camper arrival, lunch, and dismissal
High School diploma or equivalent

First Aid and CPR training are provided upon hire by the university

Preferred Qualifications- Able to lead, plan, and facilitate group activities.

- Can create a fun and positive energy classroom environment.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred ExperienceExperience working with summer programs, youth ages 14‑18, or related experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
- Good working knowledge of a subject being taught in summer camps, such as computer programming, robotics, computer gaming, AI, website development, leadership, or entrepreneurship
- Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
- Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
- Strong customer service skills
