Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The School of Data Science and Analytics (SDSA) is recognized for its interdisciplinary education and research, offering a full spectrum of programs from undergraduate to PhD levels. With faculty leading pioneering research that drives innovation in data science, analytics, and applied statistics, SDSA addresses critical business and societal challenges through robust internal and external partnerships. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the School of Data Science and Analytics for the academic year . These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, and related areas.
• Advising students

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

To teach undergraduate courses:

• A minimum of a Master s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Biostatistics, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

To Teach Graduate Courses

• A terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Biostatistics, or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.

• Professional experience working in a data related field
• Familiarity with Python, R, and/or SAS
• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
• Record of past teaching at a secondary or postsecondary level
• Post-doctoral research experience
