Our faculty includes renowned researchers and expert practitioners in three complementary fields:
Economics, Finance, and Business Analytics. Students can design their education to align with their goals, selecting from applied and theoretical coursework across these three fields to prepare for their future careers. Outside of the classroom, we have many opportunities for students, including portfolio research in our award‑winning Student Managed Investment Fund, faculty‑mentored research through our Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity, and policy and consulting work through the Economics of Education Center.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part‑time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis for the academic year 2025‑26. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate courses in the area of Finance.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Finance or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
  • OR a minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
