Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department InformationOur faculty includes renowned researchers and expert practitioners in three complementary fields:
Economics, Finance, and Business Analytics. Students can design their education to align with their goals, selecting from applied and theoretical coursework across these three fields to prepare for their future careers. Outside of the classroom, we have many opportunities for students, including portfolio research in our award-winning Student Managed Investment Fund, faculty mentored research through our Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity, and policy and consulting work through our Economics of Education Center.

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate courses in Economics
- Service as required by the department
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Economics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
- Record of past teaching in economics or a related discipline
