The INED department excels in preparing educators to meet the needs of marginalized groups through specialized concentrations in the high‑need areas of Special Education and TESOL. We integrate innovative approaches such as Universal Design and Avatar Labs to provide personalized, field‑based instruction and emphasize evidence‑based practices in language and literacy for ESOL and specialized populations.
Job SummaryKennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Inclusive Education for the academic year 2025‑2026. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank will be determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. Work will be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a TESOL or closely related discipline for undergraduate courses; alternatively, a Master’s degree in a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
- Terminal/Doctorate degree (or equivalent) in TESOL or a related discipline for graduate courses.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
- Record of past teaching of graduate and undergraduate courses in TESOL.
- Three or more years teaching in PreK‑12 grade classrooms.
