Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine‑month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- The standard teaching load for a lecturer is 27 credit hours per academic year.
- A strong commitment to excellence in teaching mathematics courses ranging from general education courses through more advanced mathematics courses (depending on qualifications).
- A strong commitment to student success among the college's disciplines and be ready to invest deeply in KSU students.
- Service to the department or institution is also required.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- An earned Doctorate or Master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in mathematics from an accredited university is required at the time of hire.
- Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level
- Experience in implementing active learning methods that facilitate meaningful engagement with students.
- Experience teaching courses such as college algebra, precalculus, and calculus.
- Evidence of commitment to student success
