Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Physics for the academic year .

• Teach calculus-based and/or algebra-based freshman/sophomore level Physics, including lectures, recitations, and laboratories.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students; prepare and conduct recitations (problem-solving sessions) to accompany algebra-based and calculus-based physics courses; prepare, set-up and direct freshman and sophomore-level physics laboratories.
• Create and administer examinations; evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, lecture presentations, and worksheets.

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Physics or a closely related discipline is required.
• OR a minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.

• Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses at a 2-year or 4-year college or university.
• Record of past teaching introductory physics at a college or university.
