The Department of Physics engages students through a student‑centered, research‑driven curriculum, where students are actively involved in high‑impact research addressing significant global issues. With a personalized approach, our program fosters the creation of new knowledge and the development of critical thinking and scientific problem‑solving skills for our graduates to excel in top‑tier graduate programs and the STEM workforce.

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine‑month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teach calculus and non‑calculus based introductory physics lectures, recitations, and laboratories.
• Service to the department, college or university related to instruction, pedagogy, and/or student success.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Physics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

• Experience with current evidence‑based instructional practices.
• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
