With a personalized approach, our program fosters the creation of new knowledge and the development of critical thinking and scientific problem‑solving skills for our graduates to excel in top‑tier graduate programs and the STEM workforce.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine‑month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Teach calculus and non‑calculus based introductory physics lectures, recitations, and laboratories.
  • Service to the department, college or university related to instruction, pedagogy, and/or student success.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Physics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with current evidence‑based instructional practices.
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
