Description

Copeland is seeking a motivated Procurement or Project Management Professional eager to grow their career in a dynamic and innovative environment. Based in our Copeland locations in the US or Mexico, you will be responsible to lead and orchestrate the successful execution of complex indirect procurement projects and programs across our global manufacturing footprint, as well as build out mature procurement processes.

From rolling out new suppliers and technologies to building cross‑functional project plans and developing standard work for core processes, this role is critical in translating procurement initiatives into measurable business results. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact procurement function within a leading organization.

AS A Procurement Program Manager, You Will
  • Lead development and implementation procurement cost savings projects
    • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholder alignment across Engineering, Operations, Quality, HR, and other stakeholders in the organization
    • Build and manage detailed project plans including milestones, owners, and risk tracking
    • Track and report on project progress, risks, and KPIs to stakeholders and senior leadership
    • Collaborate with category managers and business stakeholders in building business cases incl. quantifying expected savings, payback, and operational impact
    • Track actual benefits realization post‑implementation
  • Support the transformation of Indirect Procurement by building and implementing standard work and optimized processes, drive analytics and evaluate and roll‑out new technology
Required Education, Experiences & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree
  • 5+ years of work experience including project or program management experience in an Operations, Logistics or Procurement function
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization to manage scope of work and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Results‑orientation and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess risk, and drive forward progress in a structured manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
  • Ability to travel domestically occasionally (5%)
Preferred Education, Experiences & Skills
  • Project Management Qualification
  • Familiarity with indirect categories (e.g., MRO, Fleet, Chemicals, Corporate Services)
  • Understanding of Indirect Procurement Processes and Procurement Tools
  • Experience in Transformation and Change Management
Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in‑person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
