We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in providing accounting and financial services to a diverse client base. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the operations of a financial services firm.
Responsibilities:- Assist in performing day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities for clients using accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of 1099s, property tax returns, and payroll returns.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
- Participate in client meetings and conference calls as needed.
- Currently pursuing a degree in accounting.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in Quickbooks, Sage, and Excel is a plus.
