Senior Accounting Manager​/Controller

Zoom(PZ), is seeking a Senior Accounting Professional for a full-time role in Kennesaw, GA. This position involves training new and existing customers on effectively using PZ as their primary financial system, as part of a cross-functional implementation team. The candidate must become an expert in all financial functions within PZ and provide guidance on financial accounting principles.

• Education/Cert:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and active CPAlicense(Required).
• Experience:
  
  7–12 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a manufacturing, construction, or project-based environment.
• Project Accounting:
  
  Mastery of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and Revenue Recognition for long-term projects.
• Cost Accounting:Proven experience with Standard and Average Costingmethodologies, including perpetual inventory maintenance and physical inventory audits.
• Audit Readiness:
  
  Experience leading year-end audits, interface with outside CPAs, andpreparingcomplex audit schedules.
• Software/Systems:
  
  Prior experience with
  
  ERP/MRP implementationor high-level administration. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and handling large data exports for PZ data storage).

• Full Cycle Mastery:
  
  Expert knowledge of the month-end/year-end close process and preparation of all financial statements (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Sub-ledger Management:
  
  Ability to perform complex reconciliations of sub-ledgers to the general ledger (Cash, AR, AP, Inventory, etc.).
• Operational Accounting:
  
  Oversight or functional knowledge of AR, AP, and Payroll processing.
