Warehouse Supervisor

(Kenner, LA):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise personnel, and ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Hire, train, and motivate warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and teamwork
• Maintain employee time and attendance records, including scheduling vacations and time off
• Delegate work assignments and balance workloads across warehouse staff
• Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities
• Perform cycle counts and assist in optimizing warehouse storage layout
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and workplace compliance standards
• Track and document operational problems or mistakes and analyze root causes to implement process improvements
• Coordinate proper maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts, packaging machinery, carpentry tools, and other hand tools
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support overall warehouse organization and efficiency

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous logistics or warehouse experience required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely
• Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills with supervisory experience
• Proficiency in using personal computers; experience with Oracle systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve issues and achieve results
• High attention to detail to maintain warehouse operational standards
• Strong organizational skills to maintain structured work processes, materials, and files
• Ability to work collaboratively and motivate warehouse staff to meet operational goals
• Commitment to supporting the needs of customers, employees, and the company as a whole

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions including noise, dust, and temperature changes
