Controllers function as the central clearing house for all data and information for the local operation and the customer. In this role, the controller must maintain consistent and professional communication with warehouse operations, ramp operations, 3rd party trucking providers and the customer through phone calls and updates in the customers proprietary computer system. The successful controller will be a subject matter expert in the customers standard work manual and use this as a guide to drive required communications.

Examples of communications would include notice of flight/linehaul delays, operational escalations and consumable inventories.

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Above average interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to concentrate on detail.
• Ability to learn PC applications and apply knowledge.

• Familiarity with personal computer software helpful.
• Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

• Ability to work rotating shift including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday & Sunday), holidays and days off.
