Key Requirements:
- Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed correctly and on schedule.
- Oversee daily job site operations, which may include managing materials, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring safety regulations are followed by the team.
- A junior carpenter job description includes assisting experienced carpenters with construction tasks, such as cutting, measuring, and installing materials; preparing and cleaning job sites; maintaining tools and equipment; and learning and applying safety protocols.
- Help experienced carpenters build, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Accurately measure, cut, shape, and prepare wood and other materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
