What you'll do- Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
- Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and helping members locate merchandise.
- Support member service in the self-checkout area by resolving issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, processing purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies for different membership and payment types.
- Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs, executing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on processes, procedures, technology, tool functionality, and program rollout; provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments by using policies and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, communicating progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement and adaptation to change.
