Job Description

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) for the General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style teams. Starting hourly rate is $15.00 USD per hour.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you will have a flexible schedule, picking up shifts that work best with your availability. Reliable attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift every 4 weeks.

You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping with their needs.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.

• Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to work independently and with a team.
• Flexibility when picking up shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
