Finisher Overview
Kenner, Louisiana:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is in search of three experienced Finisher III personnel to join our team based in Kenner, Louisiana. This role offers a competitive wage and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in industrial blasting and painting. If you have experience with mixing industrial paints and using thickness gauges, along with a valid driver's license and some forklift driving experience, we encourage you to apply.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including blasting and applying primer.
- Mix and apply industrial paints to various surfaces according to specifications.
- Measure wet film thickness and dry mil gauge to ensure paint application meets quality standards.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials as required.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Must have experience as an industrial blaster/painter.
- Knowledgeable in mixing industrial paints and using wet film thickness and dry mil gauges.
- Valid driver's license and some experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Manual dexterity for precise work.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
