Regional Lead Dispatcher

Overview

Waste Pro is hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations, manage shifting priorities, and provide leadership and support in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong dispatch experience, the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational needs, and proven leadership skills to train, mentor, and support team members.

• Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Monitor team performance and provide real-time guidance to maintain productivity and service standards
• Quickly identify and resolve operational issues, route changes, staffing challenges, and service disruptions
• Train, mentor, and support dispatch staff to promote continuous improvement and professional development
• Handle conflict resolution between drivers, dispatch staff, and operations as needed
• Communicate effectively with field personnel and management regarding operational updates and challenges
• Maintain composure and effectiveness in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting plans and traveling as needed to support operational requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dispatch experience required
• Waste industry experience preferred, but not required
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

• Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, driving, etc.)- most of the work day;

• Normal setting for this job is: office. Will be willing to travel to multiple divisions.
