Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans has a great opportunity for a full-time Director of Business Development. Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans is conveniently located in Kenner, LA and is a psychiatric hospital providing inpatient programs for adults ages 18 and up.

- Direct the development and continuous refinement of the facility's business development plan, consulting with the CEO and other senior management.
- Design, develop, implement, and direct business development goals, philosophy, policies, procedures, and systems for the Business Development Department and the facility.
- Collaborate with other leaders to ensure best clinical practices and programming; support efforts toward evidence-based curriculums and program integrity.
- Analyze market climate and work with key stakeholders to develop programs, service lines, and partnerships that meet community needs and provide sustainability for the hospital.
- Coordinate and oversee marketing strategies and programs including referral development, contracts, intake, tracking, social media, advertising, public relations, and community relations.
- Explore ways to improve existing services and increase referrals to the facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Business Development team; review weekly and monthly schedules to maximize time in the field and monitor productivity and effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Monitor front-end systems and seasonal/intermittent plans, report trends, and suggest new programs to the VP of Business Development as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Assessment and Referral Team, Clinical Leadership Team, and CEO on referrals, daily bed availability, service recovery, and census.
- Submit monthly reports on marketing trends, referral sources, and contracts to Administration.
- Work closely with the VP of Business Development and the CEO of each facility.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Master’s degree in appropriate discipline is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a health care business development management position with extensive business development experience resulting in measurable results. Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is preferred. Previous working experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
