Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description:

  • Implement and coordinate treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain and update clinic logs to ensure proper record-keeping and adherence to regulations.
  • Manage the ordering and inventory of physical therapy supplies, ensuring timely availability of necessary materials.
  • Assist in treating patients with various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to cervical pain, lumbago, sprains/strains, postoperative conditions (arthroscopy, total joint replacement, fractures).
  • Provide care for patients with neurological and vestibular disorders under the direction of the evaluating clinician.
  • Progress exercise regimens according to individual patient needs and responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
