Part Time Kitchen Porter

Overview

This is a part-time temporary kitchen porter role at Elysium Healthcare's Ann House facility in Kendal. The role involves supporting the catering team with meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with deliveries. The working environment is calm and pleasant, allowing you to manage your workload and develop your career.

• Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages
• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation
• Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly
• Responsible for the department's cleaning chemicals and equipment

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support with preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries. There’s also a great social aspect to this role where you can interact with people outside the kitchen regularly.
