Warehouse & Logistics ManagerThe Logistics and Warehousing Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and delivery of materials and finished goods for an industrial manufacturing organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.Ensure accurate inventory management, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.Develop and enforce warehouse processes to improve productivity, safety, and material flow.Optimize warehouse layout, storage strategies, and material handling procedures.Maintain high standards of workplace safety and compliance with company policies.Supervise, train, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel.Manage domestic and international transportation including inbound raw materials and outbound finished goodsCoordinate shipments with freight carriers, forwarders, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).Optimize transportation methods, routing, and carrier selection to balance cost and service levels.Monitor freight costs and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5-10+ years of logistics, warehousing, or distribution experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.Proven experience managing warehouse teams and logistics operations.Experience managing both domestic and international shipments.Strong understanding of freight management, carrier negotiation, and logistics cost control.Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.Proficiency with ERP systemsIf this exciting opportunity is of interest to you, please send us your resume today!
