Development Manager

Intermediate Development Manager – Kelowna, BC
Salary: ~$120,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Match Box is partnering with a well-established real estate development group in Kelowna to recruit an Intermediate Development Manager. This is a stand-alone role with meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to senior leadership.

The Role
Reporting primarily to a senior development lead, with some interaction with the managing partner, this role will support early-stage development activities across a growing portfolio. The focus is on financial analysis, municipal coordination, and advancing projects through feasibility and entitlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain development pro formas and financial models

• Support feasibility analysis and investment decision-making

• Coordinate with the City, consultants, and external stakeholders

• Oversee early site planning, rezoning applications, and bylaws

• Assist with negotiating and managing municipal and waterfront/foreshore leases

• Track approvals, timelines, and key development milestones

About You

• Background in finance, accounting, development, or a related discipline

• Comfortable owning pro formas and financial analysis

• Exposure to municipal processes, rezoning, or land use approvals is an asset

• Organized, independent, and able to operate in a lean environment

• Strong communicator with confidence working directly with senior leadership

Additional Notes

• This is an intermediate-level role with room to grow

• Likely no formal relocation allowance, though local or already-relocating candidates are preferred

• Compensation may flex for a candidate with stronger experience
