The Project Manager is responsible for determining the scope of work for the project, working in conjunction with the Homeowner, Adjuster, or Insurance Company. The Project Manager ensures the work is completed on time and to the highest quality, focusing on the scope and estimate of work to bring the property back to pre-loss state.
What You Will DoInitiate initial customer contactEducate client on process, timing and expectations of emergency and repair phasePrepare accurate quotes and estimates, confirming target margins are metEnsure project requirements are being fulfilled and deadlines/milestones are achievedEnsure adherence to Emergency Phase timelines as per established Service Master standard operating proceduresDeliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders: i.e Adjusters, Property Managers, Homeowners & Insurance RepresentativesFocus on marketing to develop new leads and relationships with Adjusters and Property ManagersDevelop network of business relationships within the Central & Northern Okanagan region with an eye to growing the Service Master brand and generating new businessWhat You HaveUniversity or College Diploma in construction management preferred ORFormal training in a related fieldMinimum 5 years experience in the Restoration or Construction industry preferredWater Remediation Technician (WRT) certification is an assetFire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification is an assetDetailed understanding of reconstruction processKnowledge of building codes regulating construction tradeStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oralExcellent leadership and entrepreneurial skillsSkilled at managing multiple projects, opportunity analysis and decision makingBy joining Service Master Restore, you'll be part of an industry leading company that has been in Canada for more than 65 years with locations from coast to coast.
