About Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope is a registered charity based in British Columbia providing accessible, peer-led mental health support and training. We create welcoming spaces that foster connection, empowerment, and equity through free and low-cost programs. Our goal is to strengthen communities and contribute to more compassionate mental health systems. About the Role. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Volunteer to help expand our online reach and strengthen our digital presence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys using digital tools to support meaningful community impact.
Depending on your experience and interests, you may support:
- Planning and implementing digital campaigns
- SEO and keyword research
- Monitoring and optimizing Google Ad Grant campaigns
- Using Google Analytics to review website performance
- Creating trackable links (including UTMs) to help us understand where traffic and engagement are coming from
- Collaborating with our team to develop cohesive, mission-aligned content
- You’ll gain hands-on experience working with real nonprofit campaigns while contributing to mental health advocacy in British Columbia.
- Experience or interest in digital marketing, Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, or social media
- Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn
- We particularly encourage applications from individuals with lived experience of mental health concerns who are interested in building digital marketing skills in a supportive environment.
- Enrolled in or completion of a certificate or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Google Ad Grants, Google Analytics (GA4), Hub Spot, Meta Blueprint, or other digital marketing credentials are an asset.
- Knowledge and experience using digital platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Mailchimp, Linked In, and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and basic website optimization strategies.
- Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within a supportive, mission-driven nonprofit.
- Build practical skills in SEO, content creation, analytics, campaign strategy, and digital tools.
- Strengthen your resume with real-world nonprofit marketing experience.
- Connect with a values-driven team committed to mental health equity and community impact.
- Make a meaningful contribution to expanding access to peer-led mental health support.
