We are looking for a driven sales professional with a champion’s mindset—competitive, adaptable, and motivated to win—to join our team as a Medical Device Sales Representative (Orthopaedic) in Kelowna, BC.
Role SummaryAs a Medical Device Sales Representative, you will manage all aspects of sales in your assigned territory, consult with surgeons on Arthrex products and procedures, support continuous medical education programs, and maintain expert knowledge of our orthopaedic portfolio.
Important Facts- Position overseen by the Regional Sales Leader; daily work with the Territory Manager.
- Based in Kelowna, BC – preference for local candidates.
- Estimated start date:
February 2026 or when a successful candidate is found. - Periodic travel to Arthrex head office in Naples, FL; you must be eligible to travel to and from the United States.
- Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 CAD plus commission & bonus, monthly allowance, paid travel and accommodations. Direct industry experience considered.
- This is a new position.
- Provide in‑theatre clinical support for sports‑med/orthopaedic surgeries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons and surgical staff; alert Arthrex sales team to potential opportunities.
- Support the sales team by delivering case coverage and achieving sales objectives.
- Provide clinical education and training on the Arthrex product portfolio.
- Assist with case coverage, inventory management, and administrative tasks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Physical: occasional lifting of office supplies up to 50 lbs.
Travel & Mobility: regular travel to hospitals and surgical centres within the territory; frequent driving and occasional air travel, including into the U.S.; must be comfortable moving between multiple locations.
Motion: majority of time in the field—standing, walking, and moving in hospital or surgical environments for extended periods.
Psychological: ability to make quick decisions, problem‑solve on the spot, interpret complex medical information rapidly, maintain high emotional intelligence, and manage time effectively in high‑pressure settings.
Candidate Profile- Previous sales experience is an asset; a 6‑month training program will be provided.
- Bachelor’s degree or post‑secondary education required; preferred background in kinesiology, biomedical, orthopaedics, or related human anatomy.
- Background in competitive sports or sports medicine preferred.
- Ability to travel outside the province for medical education labs; required to travel to the U.S. for periodic training at Arthrex headquarters.
- Comfortable in open operating room environments; knowledge of operating room protocols preferred.
- Excellent time‑management and communication skills.
- Valid provincial driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to stand or sit for long periods and comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
- Other duties as required.
- Competitive base pay with commission and eligibility for bonus.
