We have a permanent part-time (0.40 FTE) Occupational Therapist opening supporting Long-term Care clients in Keremeos, B.C. This position is scheduled alongside a (0.50 FTE) Occupational Therapist opening in the Community Care team, totaling 0.90 FTE. The work schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 08:00-16:00. The occupational therapist works independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team providing inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community occupational therapy services. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education to promote functional independence and health outcomes. The role involves participating in departmental initiatives, meetings, research, and providing work direction to rehabilitation assistants.
