We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Student who will support the maintenance, reliability, and project teams by assisting with equipment inspections, engineering analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. The student will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical systems, reviewing technical drawings, and contributing to safe and reliable operations. This role offers meaningful exposure to real-world engineering challenges while supporting the efficiency, safety, and performance of our electrical assets.

This role will be based at our Côté Gold mine site (Gogama, Ontario) on a 14 on, 14 off rotational schedule.

• Assist with electrical equipment inspections, data collection, and condition monitoring for fixed and mobile assets.
• Support preventive and predictive electrical maintenance activities, including reviewing PM tasks, test results, and documentation.
• Compile and analyze electrical system performance data to identify inefficiencies, recurring faults, or improvement opportunities.
• Help troubleshoot electrical issues by participating in root‑cause analyses and recommending corrective actions.
• Update and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, single‑line diagrams, and technical documents under engineer supervision.
• Support small electrical or reliability‑focused projects, including scoping, planning, material coordination, and progress tracking.
• Participate in shutdown work, equipment installations, commissioning, and testing activities as required.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to promote safety, continuous improvement, and asset‑reliability initiatives.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in an Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Must be registered in a recognized co-op or internship program.
