Senior Enclosure Project Engineer

Overview  Join RJC Engineers as a  Senior Enclosure Project Engineer  to design and retrofit building enclosure systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Canada and the United States. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and a multidisciplinary team at our Kelowna office.

Salary:  $120,000 plus experience

Candidate Profile  The Senior Enclosure Project Engineer is responsible for evaluating, restoring, and retrofitting existing building envelope systems. The ideal candidate is personable, comfortable collaborating with clients and colleagues, and experienced in building science across BC climate zones.

Key Responsibilities   Manage projects from conceptual design to final completion.
Conduct site investigations and evaluate existing building envelope systems.
Design rehabilitation programs and recommend project concepts to clients.
Prepare reports, studies, and retrofit drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with engineering and architectural disciplines.
Administer contracts and review construction while implementing building science and restoration work.

Professional Qualifications & Experience   Degree in civil engineering or material science from an accredited university.
10–15 years of building science and restoration experience.
Registered with or eligible for registration with EGBC.
Experience in a consulting firm is an asset.
Supervision, mentoring, and training of 2 to 3 engineers/technical staff/production.
