Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer or CET with a passion for leading building services projects? Our client—a leading national multi-discipline engineering firm—is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and team coordination
- Oversee design documentation and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors
- Conduct site visits, lead meetings, and support construction administration
- Mentor junior staff and drive project delivery excellence
What You Bring
- 5+ years in mechanical engineering,
- P.Eng. or CET designation (required)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards including ASHRAE, CSA, NFPA, and OBC
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Compensation Transparency
The expected compensation range for this role is $100 000 – $120 000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, career growth, and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Perform load calculations, lighting layouts, power distribution, and fire alarm system design.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings as needed.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction administration. Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in electrical building services design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM) is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and relevant building codes.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
