Civil Project Manager

Match Box Consulting Group is looking for a driven, hands-on Civil Project Manager in Kelowna to join our client, a leading & 100% employee-owned construction firm known for innovative civil infrastructure projects and collaborative delivery models.

In this role, you will take start to finish ownership of complex infrastructure projects valued between $5M–$50M, including wastewater and bridge work, with the chance to work on progressive design-build and collaborative project delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil infrastructure projects through all phases: pre-construction, execution, and maintenance.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and consultants on site and in the office.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, clients, and sub-trades.
• Uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project roles with mid-size to large general contractors (minimum 2–5 years as a PM).
• Previous experience as a Project Coordinator is essential.
• Proven civil construction experience, preferably with wastewater infrastructure and bridges.
• Experience managing projects from inception to maintenance.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Minimum 3-year tenure with previous employers preferred
