Reports to:
Tasting Room Manager & Winery Owners
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Winery Hospitality & Marketing Assistant to support our tasting room operations, wine club program, and marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, wine hospitality, social media, events, and who thrives in a dynamic winery environment.
Key Responsibilities Hospitality & Tasting Room- Deliver warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to tasting room guests
- Assist the Tasting Room Manager with daily operations and guest experience
- Process retail wine sales and manage POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the tasting room
- Assist with wine club administration, including member communications and order coordination
- Support wine club shipments, packing, pickups, and member events
- Respond to wine club and direct-to-consumer inquiries via email and phone
- Process wholesale wine orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate order fulfillment, invoicing, and shipping or delivery logistics
- Communicate with wholesale customers regarding orders, availability, and timelines
- Maintain accurate wholesale customer and order records
- Assist with social media content creation, posting, and engagement
- Respond to general customer emails and inquiries professionally and promptly
- Support marketing promotions, newsletters, and mailing list communications
- Assist with planning and execution of winery events, tastings, and off-site promotions
- Represent the winery at festivals, trade events, and community activities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
- Ability to lift up to [40–50 lbs]
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous winery, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Basic wine knowledge or strong interest in learning about wine
- Experience with POS systems and wine club software
- Social media or marketing experience is an asset
