Job Requirements- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (day and night), potentially for up to 20 consecutive days followed by 10 days off (including weekends and holidays).
- Flexibility to travel (including out of state) if no local work is available.
Your application will remain active for 60 days.
Job Duties- Safety Commitment: Display a strong dedication to safety and the environment by working safely every day.
- Hazard Recognition: Identify and address hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Policy Adherence: Understand and comply with Timberline Drilling Inc. policies and procedures.
- Leadership: Lead and collaborate with contractors and drill crews to achieve efficient and safe drill placements.
- Equipment Operation: Operate underground and surface core drills safely and efficiently.
- Crew Training: Offer leadership and training for drill crews focusing on safe and effective drilling and sampling methods.
- Client Coordination: Communicate with client personnel to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
- Supply Management: Ensure timely availability of drill supplies to meet program requirements.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate four-wheel drive vehicles under various conditions.
- Compliance: Conduct and document regular inspections and safety meetings in accordance with MSHA regulations.
- Sample Processing: Assist in the shipping of samples from drill sites to processing facilities, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Documentation: Help with the accuracy and completeness of drill-related documents.
- Communication: Effectively communicate drill activities and concerns with supervisors and departments.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize experience to resolve down-hole drilling issues.
- Surveying: Ensure accurate drill hole surveys are conducted post-drilling.
- Ability to hear alarms and conversations.
- Capability to read safety data sheets, warning signs, and gauges.
- Ability to traverse rough, slick, or uneven terrain and to climb ladders.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Aptitude to operate light vehicles and drilling equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
