Meat​/Seafood Clerk

The opportunity to work with protein foods and learn a skilled craft while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, friendly environment has arrived at Sprouts Farmers Market. We need a committed Meat/Seafood Clerk to join our winning team.

As a Meat Clerk at Sprouts, you will:

• Provide a high level of customer service and product knowledge.
• Practice safe food handling procedures and adhere to all departmental guidelines.
• Receive, store, grind, unload, and transport meats and poultry; count and weigh incoming articles and compare against invoices.
• Examine meats in storage, rotate inventory, and maintain a clean, sanitized work area.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and find product locations throughout the store.
• Follow our “Clean as You Go” and “Fresh at 4” programs.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Capable of standing up to 4 hours continuously, walking up to 2 miles per shift.
• Ability to lift/carry between 25–90 lbs across specified distances and use a pallet jack up to 500 lbs.
• Good vision for using knives, grinders, and other food preparation equipment.
• General housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities.
• Adherence to all safety, health, and company regulations.
