SUMMARY: Provides professional development to support staff in the transformation of teaching and learning processes utilizing 21st century methodologies to increase student engagement and achievement. Works collaboratively with campus administrators and faculty in the design and implementation of school‑wide instructional initiatives, based on campus data and in alignment with District goals, through coaching, collaborating, and co‑teaching. Promotes highly effective teaching practices, i.e., classroom management through highly engaging lessons and meaningful technology integration.

- Model KISD core organizational beliefs and values; perform duties effectively and efficiently for the purpose of supporting and contributing to high student achievement.
- Provide program support and service delivery; communicate effectively within and across teams and participate in cross‑functional work groups.
- Maintain a commitment to the District mission; model District expectations through personal leadership and actively support the efforts of others to achieve District goals.
- Work collaboratively with assigned classroom teachers to establish realistic and measurable objectives related to both the teacher’s individual professional development and student learning.
- Support the continuous professional growth and improvement of teacher instructional skills through coaching and collaborative problem solving.
- Observe classroom instruction and provide feedback and coaching to classroom teachers to facilitate improvement and innovation. Demonstrate teaching strategies with students in classroom.
- Recognize teacher effectiveness in accordance with established District programs.
- Plan and provide appropriate staff development for teachers, administrators, and staff.
- Provide staff development and instructional support for content and digital resources.
- Provide differentiated staff development, as needed, in the areas of powerful instructional strategies, small group and workshop instruction, and curriculum modifications.
- Devote 60% of time to assigned campus.
- Design instructional video modules, webinars, digital instructional materials, and training aids integrating the district’s recommended instructional models, instructional resources, and continuous improvement tools.
- Engage in reflective conversations with teachers and administrators.
- Support instructional staff to ensure that student achievement data drives instructional decisions at the classroom and campus level.
- Work with teachers to analyze and interpret student data and use findings to develop and apply instructional strategies.
- Develop curricular or behavioral support materials as needed.
- Disseminate information regarding current research and significant developments on the state and national levels in area assigned.
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship and open communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members.
- Participate in staff development activities to improve job‑related skills.
- Comply with State, District, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
