Pharmacy Cashier

$17.00/hr - $19.00/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items; assist with OTC products and guide customers to aisles when possible.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status, report prescription errors promptly, and adhere to company policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and merchandised, and maintain inventory records.
• Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal items; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store neat and appealing.
• Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and comply with all company policies.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
