Role at Target:
On-Demand Team Member (TM) with a flexible schedule, selecting shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime app. Attendance and engagement are essential; shifts are picked up as needed to support store operations.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and resolve concerns; be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available total store to improve guest experience.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company practices.
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs and fulfill enrollment when needed; understand fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll or use them.
- Explain how to use Wallet and Target App features and offerings.
- Assist with returns following register prompts and escalate to leaders as needed; de-escalate situations per Target policies.
- Support Order Pick Up (OPU), Drive Up (DU) orders, and Registry guests; ensure safe, accurate service.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace; stock supplies during store hours and assist guests as required.
- Adhere to safety policies, ethical conduct, and compliance requirements; report hazards and address where possible.
- Support cash office processes as needed, including cash system management.
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including teammates.

- You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).

- Accurately handle cash transactions and support cash office operations as needed.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
- Flexibility to pick up shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet store needs.
- Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts; failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
- Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
