Position: Registered Nurse School Setting - Keene, NH
A temporary contract position is available for a skilled 1:1 substitute nurse (LPN or higher licensure) to provide specialized care for a student at a middle school in Keene, NH. This role requires a compassionate and attentive nursing professional to deliver individualized health support in a school setting from February through May.

Schedule:

• Feb 2: 7:00-8:30 AM (additional hours up to a half day considered)
• Feb 14, 15, 16:
  Full days, 7:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Mar 13: 11:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Mar 16: 7:00-8:30 AM (additional hours up to a half day considered)
• Mar 25, 26, 27:
  Full days, 7:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Mar 30, 31:
  Full days, 7:00 AM-2:30 PM
• May 6, 7: 7:00 AM-2:30 PM
• May 12, 13, 14: 7:00 AM-2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student with complex medical needs
• Monitor residuals and administer delay bolus feedings via pump and G-tube
• Observe and document heart rate and oxygen saturation as necessary
• Perform oral and nasal suctioning
• Administer mouth wound care as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience preferred
• Certified in relevant pediatric nursing or school health protocols
• Proficiency in G-tube feeding and respiratory care procedures
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate health documentation
• Strong communication skills and patience in providing individualized care
