Job Opportunity – OR RN First Assistant – New Hampshire
Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Standard shift rotation; weekend and holiday coverage required as needed; call duties required
Highlights:
- Work within a comprehensive Surgery Department offering diverse surgical procedures including endocrine, breast and oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary cases
- Collaborate with highly skilled surgeons specializing in multiple specialty areas
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
- 13-week assignment with limited time-off options (maximum 5 days)
- Call coverage required as part of departmental needs
- Work with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity surgical environment
Requirements:
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
- Minimum 3+ years of OR RN First Assistant experience required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required
- Multiple surgical specialty experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in stressful situations
