Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN with at least 2 years of IR and critical care experience and active NH or compact nursing license.
Responsibilities- Position is in an Interventional Radiology department serving adult and geriatric patients
- Responsibilities include care for inpatients and outpatients in various radiology areas such as Diagnostic, Special Procedures, Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and MRI
- 10-hour day shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call required, but may require holiday coverage as needed
- Epic EMR is used for documentation;
Epic experience is required - Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Role includes developing clinical protocols, overseeing patient monitoring, and managing drug administration during radiological procedures
- Must be prepared to manage unexpected emergencies during procedures
- Expected to participate in patient and family teaching and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Professional scrubs provided by traveler, no logos allowed
- Requested time off (RTO) up to 5 days must be submitted at upload; no additional RTO requests will be approved after offer
- All compliance medical requirements must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
- Permanent address must be included for consideration
- Current New Hampshire RN license or valid compact RN license, uploaded with profile; license required if applicable
- At least 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU required
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; documentation must be uploaded
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with conscious or moderate sedation preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
