Registered Nurse; RN – Oncology. Per Diem

Overview

Under general supervision of the Nursing Team Leader, Clinical Leader and/or the Department Director and under the general direction of the department physicians, perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes. In addition to functioning with greater autonomy, the RN will demonstrate excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/ time management skills.

• State of New Hampshire license with minimum of three years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current certification in BCLS required (ACLS may be required for certain departments).
• Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency.
• Computer skills required.
• May be required to participate in evening, weekend and holiday coverage according to the needs of the department.
• OCN certification preferred, and at least one year of experience in an outpatient setting is desired.
