As a Travel Registered Nurse in L&D, you’ll carry primary responsibilities that center on labor and delivery, obstetric assessment, and neonatal stabilization in collaboration with physicians, midwives, and support staff. You’ll monitor fetal well‑being and maternal physiology, interpret tracings, manage labor progress, administer analgesia and anesthesia‑related support as appropriate, assist with cesarean sections when needed, and provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care.
You’ll educate families on lactation, newborn care, warning signs, and transition planning, while maintaining meticulous documentation and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
