Construction Project Scheduler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role involves maintaining and updating short-term and weekly construction schedules, visiting job sites to submit daily logs, and coordinating labor sequencing across concrete and masonry crews. The ideal candidate will adeptly adjust schedules due to weather, site conditions, inspections, or production changes and communicate any adjustments promptly.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, and update short-term and weekly construction schedules.
* Visit job sites and submit daily logs.
* Coordinate labor sequencing across concrete and masonry crews.
* Adjust schedules as needed due to weather, site conditions, inspections, or production changes.
* Identify scheduling conflicts and communicate adjustments in a timely manner.
* Serve as a primary liaison between project managers, foremen, suppliers, and dispatch.
* Communicate daily schedule updates and changes clearly and consistently.
* Support field operations by ensuring alignment between schedules and jobsite needs.
* Maintain accurate records of schedules, deliveries, and changes.
* Assist project managers with look-ahead planning and production forecasting.
* Support multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy.
Essential Skills
* 2+ years of experience in construction scheduling, project coordination, or operations.
* Experience in concrete, masonry, or related construction trades preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite workflows.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Clear and professional communication skills.
* Proficiency with scheduling tools and software (e.g., Excel, construction management software).
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in concrete and masonry trades.
* Experience in project coordination and document control.
* Construction administration knowledge.
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Kearny, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
