Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU for a 13-week contract assignment in Kearney, NE. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and life-support equipment

Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed

Assess patient status and promptly report changes to physicians

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures

Requirements:

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state license

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment
