We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment caring for critically ill adult patients in a 33-bed intensive care unit.
Unit Details- 33 ICU Beds
- Average Daily Census: 16
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2 – 1:3
- Trauma
- Cardiac cases
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Respiratory distress
- Post-stent & pacemaker placement
- Renal and heart failure
- Substance abuse / overdose
- Active RN License
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Experience managing ventilated ICU patients
- Comfortable titrating cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Ventilators
- CPAP / BiPAP
- High Flow Oxygen
- GE Telemetry Monitoring
- 12-hour Nights (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Every other weekend
- Travelers placed into unit schedule
May float to PCU or Med-Surg as needed.
Important Notes- Must live 50+ miles from facility
- Cannot currently work for Common Spirit / CHI / Dignity Health
- Driver's license required at submission
- Artificial nails not allowed in patient care areas
