Travel Nurse RN – Intensive Care Unit – Kearney, Nebraska
Malone Healthcare – Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU position located in Kearney, Nebraska.

- Provide direct patient care in a 33‑bed ICU, with a typical census of 16 patients.
- Maintain nurse‑to‑patient ratios of 1:2–3 for adult patients.
- Titrate and administer IV drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation infusions.
- Monitor and manage ventilator support (Vent, CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow) and other respiratory equipment.
- Participate in trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post‑stent, pacemaker, stroke, vascular, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress cases.
- Perform bedside assessments and provide education to patients and families.
- Current RN license in the state of Nebraska.
- Board certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Hands‑on ICU experience.
- Valid driver’s license (travel within a 50‑mile radius).
- Compliance with fingernail policy: no artificial nails in patient care areas.
- Pass the orientation exam (open‑book) with a score of at least 90%; failure may result in contract termination.
- Accept the 12‑hour day shift schedule and the 13‑week contract period.
- Scheduling: blocked scheduling only weekends allowed; cooperation with travel team required.
