Registered Nurse - No Nights​/Weekends

My client is a regional ophthalmology and eye care organization providing comprehensive vision services, including exams, surgery, and specialty treatments—to patients in and around Kearney.

$38–$44/hr., based on experience

Provides comprehensive care to surgical patients throughout the pre-operative, operative, and recovery periods. Responsibilities include symptom assessment, medication administration, patient education, and emotional support while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, safety, and compliant care.

• Deliver direct patient care in pre-surgical, operative, and recovery phases.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to compliance standards, ASC philosophies, state nursing regulations, and governing agency guidelines.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow infection-control policies, medication administration protocols, and controlled substance regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information.

• ASN or BSN degree required.
• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment.
• Minimum of one year of operating room experience is preferred.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
