• Role: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN), Travel Nurse – Acute Care
• Unit: Medical/Surgical Unit (23 beds)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours/week, up to 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: First to float to PCU for MSU assignment unless telemetry trained
• Charting System: EPIC
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130–$2250/week

• Active RN license (Nebraska or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg experience (Med/Surg RN, Medical Surgical Nurse)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to float to PCU as needed; telemetry training preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using EPIC
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, support staff) to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other units such as PCU when required
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and Level 3 trauma protocols
